On 3rd of April the MyFitness Dzelzava sports club opened at Dzelzavas Street 78, Purvciems. The newly opened premises has a total area of 1,500 m², and it is the twelfth MyFitness club in Riga.

“MyFitness continues to progress towards its goal of making a fitness club available to every member of the public, both in terms of location and in regard to the range of fitness activities on offer. The new shopping centre and sports club will be located in a strategically important location, thus improving the quality of life enjoyed by the residents of Purvciems, Pļavnieki and Mežciems. The MyFitness Dzelzava sports club will span a total area of 1,500 m². The sports club will be located on the second floor of a newly built building. The club will contain a spacious and modern gym with training apparatus made by the leading global manufacturer Technogym. A spacious and bright space will be specially designated to group activities, which will be fitted with a wide range of equipment, thus offering a broad range of training options to suit every taste.

In response to the growing demand for the private trainers’ service, a comfortable and fully-equipped trainers’ cabinet will be installed in the club, where body tests will be conducted using the latest technology, ascertaining indicators such as biological age, fat-free body mass, fat mass and other measurements. These indicators are not just of interest to customers, but also provide vital information to trainers, helping them to prepare a precise and effective training programme.

In keeping track of the latest fitness trends, the club will also have a spacious functional zone, which will be equipped with a wide range of inventory, thus providing limitless options for variations in training. Training will become leisure, but the same time the focus will maintained on the most important thing – the customer’s individual goal, which is his or her reason for visiting the sports club.

As the manager of MyFitness Latvia I. Alne stresses, “MyFitness’smission is to provide quality and contemporary sports club services to as wide a section of Riga’s population as possible. The availability of such services is an important precondition for promoting a healthy lifestyle in the specific neighbourhood and within society as a whole.”
