A new MyFitness club will be opened
A new Rimi trading centre is planned to be built in Riga, Vienības gatve 194a. The construction works are planned to be finished in two years` time, and the new MyFitness club will be opened on the second floor in 2017. Clients will have the opportunity to use a spacious gym, a functional area, two rooms for group classes, and sauna that will serve as a great way to relax after a workout. Similarly to other MyFitness clubs, the clients will be able to take part in different group classes and use services provided by experienced personal trainers.
The new trading centre and sports club will be located in a strategically favourable area and will help to improve the quality of life for the inhabitants of Ziepniekkalns, Mārupe, and Tīraine, as well as for those who work or study in the capital, by providing an extensive list of sports classes. An agreement for the opening of MyFitness sports club in 2017 has been signed with SIA Plesko Real Estate, which is a part of Rimi Baltic Group. The area of the sports club is said to be more than ca. 2 000 m2.
“We are happy to be a part of this long-term cooperation. Rimi has always stressed the importance of healthy lifestyle, and it cannot be achieved without sport, therefore we are glad that customers and people living in the area will be able to not only purchase fresh produce, but also spend time at the gym or in a group class,” said Inga Bite, Head of Public Relations Department of Rimi Latvia.
“The opening of a spacious and advanced sports club in this part of the city is a strategic and self-evident move on the behalf of MyFitness. One of our main goals is to create the notion that a visit to a sports club is a part of our daily routine, and that is why we try to become more and more accessible. We are sure that together with such a professional partner as Rimi this will be a very nice and unique project,” indicated Ēriks Nadziņš, Head of MyFitness Latvija.
MyFitness strives to provide advanced and high-quality services to as many inhabitants of Rīga as possible. The availability of such services is a major precondition for spreading the word about healthy lifestyle within the boundaries of a specific region and educating the entire society.
MyFitness is the leading provider of fitness-related services in the Baltic States. There are currently 18 clubs in total — 12 of them are located in Estonia and 6 in Latvia. During 2016, MyFitness plans to open additional 3-5 clubs in Estonia and 2-4 clubs in Latvia.
